It seems I am getting the same as you:

I haven't downgraded (yet), because it seeemed like I was getting a
different error than you. So in case it was something to do with my
linking, before I learnt of gdb (!), I tried installing (latest)
raptor, rasqal, redland, bindings rather than just (latest) redland,
bindings. But no change in error.
